Terms of Service
Welcome to Konecktah. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Konecktah platform ("Platform"), operated by RealtonSoft Consult ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully before using Konecktah.
1. About Konecktah
Konecktah is an online booking and appointment management platform that connects customers with service providers ("Businesses"). We facilitate the discovery, booking, payment, and review of appointment-based services including but not limited to beauty and wellness, health and fitness, professional services, and other service categories.
Konecktah acts solely as a marketplace and intermediary. We do not provide, perform, or guarantee the services offered by Businesses on the Platform.
2. Eligibility
To use Konecktah, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be a resident of Ghana or authorized to transact in Ghana Cedis (GHS).
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Account Types and Registration
3.1 Customer Accounts
Customers can create accounts to browse businesses, book services, make payments, and leave reviews.
3.2 Business Accounts
Businesses can register to list their services, manage bookings, receive payments, and interact with customers. All Business accounts are subject to a manual review and approval process by Konecktah before becoming active on the Platform.
3.3 Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at contact@konecktah.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary.
4. Bookings
4.1 Making a Booking
When a customer makes a booking through Konecktah, they are entering into a direct arrangement with the Business for the provision of the booked service. Konecktah facilitates this arrangement but is not a party to it.
4.2 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. Customers will receive a confirmation via email and in-app notification.
4.3 Rescheduling
Customers may request to reschedule a booking subject to the following conditions:
- A maximum of 2 reschedules per booking.
- Reschedule requests must be made at least 3 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
Businesses may accept or decline reschedule requests.
4.4 Cancellation
- Customer cancellations made 3 or more hours before the appointment: Eligible for a full refund of the service fee (see Refund Policy).
- Customer cancellations made less than 3 hours before the appointment: Not eligible for a refund.
- Business cancellations: The customer will always receive a full refund.

4.5 No-Shows
- If a customer fails to appear for a confirmed booking, the Business may mark the booking as a no-show.
- No-show bookings are not eligible for a refund.
- Customers may dispute a no-show determination within 3 hours of the no-show marking by providing supporting evidence. Konecktah will review disputes and make a final determination.
5. Payments and Fees
5.1 Currency
All transactions on Konecktah are conducted in Ghana Cedis (GHS).
5.2 Payment Methods
Konecktah accepts payments via Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money), debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and bank transfers. All payments are processed securely through Paystack.
5.3 Platform Fee
Konecktah charges a platform service fee of 10% of the booking total, capped at GHS 1.00 per booking. This fee is deducted from the business's earnings and is non-refundable, even if the customer receives a refund for the booking.
5.4 Business Settlements
Businesses receive their earnings (booking amount minus platform fee) according to their selected settlement schedule:
- T+1: Next business day
- T+3: Three business days (default)
- Weekly: Once per week
Settlements are only processed for completed bookings where the service has been delivered. Settlements may be held during active dispute investigations.
5.5 Pricing
Businesses set their own service prices. Konecktah does not control or determine the pricing of services offered by Businesses.
6. Reviews and Ratings
6.1 Leaving Reviews
After a completed booking, customers may leave a rating (1-5 scale) and written review for the Business or specific service. Businesses may also rate customers.
6.2 Review Guidelines
Reviews must be:
- Based on a genuine booking experience.
- Truthful, fair, and not misleading.
- Free from offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory content.
- Not used for harassment, spam, or commercial solicitation.
6.3 Content Ownership
All content submitted to the Platform, including reviews, comments, and uploaded images, becomes the property of Konecktah. By submitting content, you grant Konecktah an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform and its promotion.
6.4 Review Moderation
Konecktah reserves the right to remove or hide reviews that violate these Terms or our review guidelines. Businesses may flag reviews for moderation.
7. Chat and Communication
Konecktah provides an in-app messaging feature for communication between customers and businesses regarding specific bookings. Users agree to:
- Use the chat feature only for booking-related communication.
- Not share personal contact information to circumvent the Platform.
- Not send spam, offensive, threatening, or inappropriate messages.
Konecktah may monitor communications to ensure compliance with these Terms and to resolve disputes.
8. User Conduct
By using Konecktah, you agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts.
- Circumvent the Platform's payment system to avoid fees.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Post fraudulent reviews or manipulate ratings.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
9. Enforcement and Suspension
Konecktah reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice. Actions we may take include:
- Immediate suspension of the account pending investigation.
- Permanent ban from the Platform.
- Withholding of pending settlements for Business accounts.
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities where appropriate.
Users whose accounts are suspended may contact contact@konecktah.com to request a review of the decision.
10. Business Responsibilities
Businesses on the Platform agree to:
- Provide accurate descriptions of their services, pricing, and availability.
- Honor confirmed bookings and provide services as described.
- Maintain appropriate licenses, permits, and qualifications required for the services they offer.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Ghana.
- Respond to customer inquiries and booking requests in a timely manner.
- Not discriminate against customers on any unlawful basis.
11. Intellectual Property
The Konecktah name, logo, software, design, and all associated materials are the property of RealtonSoft Consult and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without our express written permission.
12. Disclaimers
- No Warranty: Konecktah is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Service Quality: Konecktah does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any services provided by Businesses on the Platform. Businesses are solely responsible for the services they deliver.
- Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Konecktah shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
- Konecktah shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the actions or omissions of Businesses or customers on the Platform.
- Konecktah's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total platform fees you have paid to Konecktah in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Between Users
Customers and Businesses are encouraged to resolve disputes directly through the Platform's messaging feature. If a resolution cannot be reached, either party may contact Konecktah at contact@konecktah.com for mediation assistance.
14.2 No-Show Disputes
Customers may dispute a no-show determination within 3 hours of the no-show marking by submitting evidence through the Platform. Konecktah will review the evidence and make a final, binding determination.
14.3 With Konecktah
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RealtonSoft Consult, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Platform.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Any content you submit to the Platform.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms.
- Notify you via email and in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of Konecktah after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Platform and close your account.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RealtonSoft Consult regarding your use of Konecktah.
